I'm not happy with case management. My case worker called Child protective services on me and said everything she could to try to get my children removed from my care knowing I was homeless. She quickly put us in an apartment which I'm thankful for. However, the apartment she put us in should be condemned in many ways. Most of the units are not up to par. There is a rodent issue. When I asked my case management to come to the exterminator appointment so she can see for herself that this apartment does have rats and that the landlord is making me pay for the extermination she made herself unavailable for the appointment. In my mind, if this organization is helping to fund a portion of the rent they would want to be involved in these type of matters? She told me she had 27 other clients to worry about. I think that's highly unprofessional and lacking compassion. I have requested to work with a different case manager. Unfortunately, I noticed she is still showing this apartment to other families. Knowing what she knows why would she house anyone else in this apartment complex considering the condition it's in?

Myself and my husband went out of town for a family emergency and then when we got home we had to leave again for a friend's funeral so all in all we were gone for about a month give or take ... And as soon as our caseworker found out that we were back she called me and said some very hateful things including threatening me with eviction
