Great service for early dinner. Sommelier, Bryce, was extremely helpful. His suggestion for the Bourbon Renewal was very tasty. I had the Steak Frites and ate every bite.

Parts of Justine were excellent and other parts were not so excellent. I'm feeling fairly mixed on my experience here. Sorry in advanced for not provided pictures of everything we ordered. I'll start with the excellent. The host and waitress were both very pleasant and the atmosphere was quite enjoyable. All of the appetizers were bold and flavorful: the crawfish mac and cheese, the onion soup, the beets, and the brussel sprouts. I loved them all and would definitely recommend them. The only entree that stood out was the burger. Oh, and all of the wine and cocktails were good too! And for the not so excellent. I was overall dissatisfied with three of the four entrees. The chicken was definitely over-cooked and dry. The steak was quite undercooked, rare, and quite frankly awful. And the fish was, I don't know, just not all that good. For a James Beard award winning restaurant, I was expecting significantly better food. As a mentioned, the service was excellent, the appetizers were excellent, and the entrees were meh.

The menu has been scaled back dramatically, since the last time I visited. Of the limited choices we had everything was tasty. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of bread service from a French brassiere. Escargot with no baguette... :( The waiter seemed a little preoccupied with being elsewhere.

the food is not worth the cost at all, while very pretty, it was all incredibly salty. I was underdressed for the establishment and told I could sit at either the bar or outside because their tables were all full. It was a Monday night, and there were two, maybe three tables sat the entire time I was there. The staff would give me weird looks and check on me almost every single bite, I felt very rushed and not wanted. the only thing I enjoyed about this place was the aesthetics, I would have rather they told me I didn’t meet a dress code than deal with the customer service I received

Gnocchi when we were there. The portion was truly miniscule, and they were overcooked.
Fantastic... They put the customer safety first
No, but you would feel a little outta place on a Friday or Saturday night date in shorts and flip flops
I would recommend getting a Lyft or an Uber. It's difficult to park down there; however, the closest parking is probably the Monteleone garage. Street parking is available in the surrounding blocks, but it is hard to come by and there are tricky no parking zones for the hotels, etc.
When I dined at the restaurant with my husband our waiter actually went out of his way to go through menu items one by one to make sure that I knew what the ingredients were and that they would not conflict with my food allergies, even rushing to our table at one point to say an item we ordered had contained something that he hadn't been aware of and wanted to make sure I wouldn't have a reaction. I am sorry and surprised you had a negative experience. I would definitely contact the owners or front of house management, as they really seem to take service just as seriously as they do food.
