Great meal with my friends from around the world. They all said that it was the best place to dine during our 5 day trip to New Orleans. Make sure you walk around to see all of the Mardi Gras photos in the back. Lots of artifacts to admire. 2nd largest wine cellar. The Oysters Rockefeller were not what I expected. They are nothing like what you have had in other restaurants. No one at the table liked them. My friend from India said that they tasted like Indian food. HIGHLY recommended place to fine dine.

I felt like I was tourist trapped. The entire experience was underwhelming especially for the price point. The service was adequate but not up to the level I would expect with spending hundreds of dollars on dinner. The host did say Happy anniversary to us because of the note we put with our reservation but that was the only acknowledgment they gave us of it. To start our waiter asked if either of us were Francis, we both said no. He did not try to find out our names. They dropped silverware and broke dishes in front of our table. When setting us up for dessert they brought gigantic kitchen spoons that were over a foot long. They apparently did not have normal size ones clean. The food all around was relatively bland and unmemorable. We started with escargot and souffle potatoes. Both were fine. For dinner I got the Filet and my Husband Fish Pontchartrain, both were under seasoned and one note. We wanted the Café Brulot with Baked Alaska for dessert but were told by our waiter they no longer did Café Burlot (it was on the menu). The waitress assisting our waiter said she believed they were just out of the brandy they used. Either way we were disappointed as this was most of the reason we choice to come here. The baked Alaska was fine but all vanilla, cake, ice cream and meringue. The chocolate sauce did not make much impact on flavor. They wrote "Antoine's since 1840" this would have been a great opportunity for a happy anniversary instead. The only positive really was I loved my glass of red wine J Lohr Pure Passo. The Champagne by the glass was a relatively disappointing. Overall disappointing and not worth the nearly $300 we spent.

We wandered in with no reservation at lunch-time, thankfully we were tastefully well-dressed, and were seated almost immediately in the beautiful front dining room. Our server was very kind when I explained I was on a mission to taste the best of NOLA for my first visit. The St. Germain champagne cocktail was inspired, the oysters Noch amazing! I simply must figure out sauce Colbert! Fabulous escargot. There is some kind of MAGIC involved w souflee potatoes!!! Thank you, even more, for inviting us to explore the back rooms. We really appreciated learning the amazing Proteus history of Antoine's. What an amazing first visit to NOLA. Thank you, for exceeding in every way. I'll be seeing you on my next trip, because now... Im hooked! I'll be sure to make a res next time, I promise.

It's pretty expensive but absolutely worth it.
Lunch currently runs from 11 am-2:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Our lunch special menu is available during this time.
At lunch, casual is fine. For dinner, I would suggest a blazer, especially with denim - this is Antoine's after all :)
I'm sure there is still a waiter named Lawrence Crader somewhere just not sure if its here.
Monday through Saturday at lunch. Quarterly, there is new food, created, and exist year round. Starting with the 25 cent martini!
The menu is the breakfast menu. Has some of the dinner menu items for a reduced price but you get a smaller portion. It's still delicious...
No, refer to their website. The dress code is spelled out. Not formal but no t shirts, shorts, etc

You have us confused with the Antoine's Bakery. We do not make King Cakes. Sorry!
I'd call them. They can give the best answer.
For lunch we just walked right in and had a fantastic meal.
No dress code but if you don't want to look too out of place, it might be helpful to at least wear something semi formal.
No, closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Lunch is 11-30 till 2 PM. You will be fine if you get there by 2 pm.
Only the lunch menu can be used at lunch that's is because lunch is what they only serve at lunch time
