Absolutely shot here. For starters I made a walk in appointment for my fiancee because two in house pregnancy tests came back positive. So when I walked in for the first appointment I asked about a sonogram, which they said they would do that day, well they left us waiting for two hours to only call us back into the actual doctors room only to inform us that she was pregnant. information we knew. So I showed visible frustration from having our time absolutely wasted. So finding out that we couldn't get a sonogram done that day I wanted to set up an appointment to do that and was barely receiving an answer as to when and how because I had no more interest in being there longer than I already was. Because of this they made me wait in the waiting room and an appointment was made that we couldn't make due to work so we had to call and reschedule for today at 12:30. After we got there and waited they would only let her in the doctor's office. I'm extremely displeased with the way that they handled our first visit and if I could I would rate this place 0 stars. Needless to say because of their mix up and absolute rudeness of the nurses I'll take my family here again.

First visit had nothing to do with staff but an elderly gentleman was passing out community news papers in the office. He tried to hand me one and I just smiled and shook my head no. As he walked away said "Probably couldn't read English anyway". I said "I speak English just fine, I just don't want your newspaper!" He was shocked but didn't apologize. Second visit I needed bloodwork for my child and asked a receptionist for the doctor's signature page bc I only had the order (1 page out of 2). She called someone and asked if I could have a copy of vaccinations for my child instead. Never received the doctor signature page so no blood work for my child. I'm using another doctor office and I'm glad I switched.

Wait times are way too long. I’ve been waiting and hour plus just for a physical. Every time I come here it’s the same. Some staff are friendly and helpful and others look miserable. I don’t know why this is happening but it’s definitely something they should look into.

Different doctors have different wait times. Some at the practice are overloaded with patients,while some of them have less. The early time is for sign in and pre-visit paperwork for those with doctors with light caseloads. Since you have one with a heavy caseload, ignore the "come in early".

Hi Sheila, due to limited supply, we are prioritizing COVID-19 Vaccines for patients at this time. As we gain more supply we encourage you to continue to visit our website at nhcwny.org as we hope to provide more community vaccine sessions in the near future.
You can apply for sliding fee or pay little by little. Neighborhood Health Center provides compassionate health care and they help patients in a way they can afford visits, treatment, etcetera.
We no longer do walk-in appointments. For established patients we have same day access appointments for check-ups and sick visits. For those that are looking to establish care we do have a limited number of New Patient Physicals available everyday at three of our sites.
