I grew up in Los Angeles and have experienced terrible USPS offices. This sweet little postal office in Eugene is by far the best customer service I’ve ever received from USPS. I ADORE the staff here. They are so kind and helpful. I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes. Please support your local USPS office! Sending handwritten letters to loved ones shouldn’t be a bygone method, so pick up a pen and write your loved ones while you still can. This office has tons of well priced, cute card/envelope sets & there’s more online too!

Most of the USA government agencies work bad but USPS is even worse - like they do a favor to people by moving around. I would suggest to shut them down and transfer all the services to the private companies. Our post office man tried to put a small package in the mailbox and after failing to do so, he/she left a notice that the mailbox was full. I cleaned the mailbox from the junk sent to us and they didn't bother to deliver it next day. The most interesting part - we have lock boxes available with the keys inside in the same place (I came 10 minutes after the Amazon notified about "delivery attempt"), which means they could put it there instead. There is also a huge Amazon Station in our Apartments with plenty of boxes - so there were plenty of options to deliver. Yet, the post man decided to leave a notice of "delivery attempt" . This post office doesn't care about their clients because they are paid by the government, which means - indirectly by our taxes. I'd prefer to pay less taxes for USPS and pay more to the private post office companies instead.

I’m retired and handicapped. Our mailman delivered a box of canned cat food containing 32 cans of cat food and jammed it into our mailbox along with another case weighing almost 40 pounds. The boxes were wedged in so tight that when we tried to get them out we had to tear the box because we couldn’t get them out. We’ve had some problems with our mailman in the past. He apparently didn’t want to deliver packages to our door. When we complained, he told us that he didn’t deliver because of our dog. I explained to him that we’ve lived here for 2 years and we don’t have a dog. I don’t wish to create problems but this mailman is creating hardship for me.

I am fortunate to live less than a mile from this location. As a newish Ebay seller, I have been stopping in to this location several times a week for the past year. The staff are always patient, courteous and knowledgeable. Many times they have helped me find the most economical shipping options. They are always calm and friendly. Today one of the clerks answered my questions about shipping a very valuable item internationally and put my nervous mind at ease. I have regularly witnessed these USPS employees handle even the most rude customers with patience and professionalism. They are the best! 😊
