We stayed over a night at this Hampton Inn location for an event. I typically don't stay Hampton Inn when I travel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and my kids enjoyed a late night dip at the indoor pool. Breakfast was nice, but for something hearty there is a Cracker Barrel in the parking lot. The hotel is older but we'll maintained and updated.

I stayed on the second floor and it was horrible. I was up half of the night and woken up early in the morning. It sounded like 20 horses were stomping around above me. You could hear everything from the room above. I have stayed there before but always on the top floor. I will be requesting the third floor from now on if I stay there.

I originally wanted to leave a two star review however one of the staff members came to mind and he was just wonderful! He handles the breakfast and is so polite and wonderful to everyone that comes down for breakfast. However, I will not be staying here ever again. Our room smelled like mildew. Apparently the cleaning service is by request only and we were not aware since no one mentioned it when checking in and when we asked the front desk for more towels and a garbage bag for our garbage we felt like we were a nuisance. Other staff members seemed to have treated us differently then others as well. Anytime my mother would go outside to chat on her phone or for a cigarette she said it felt like one of the people at the desk would follow her outside to watch her. It made her very uncomfortable. There was an incident where we were accused of smoking pot in the room, which no one was considering I am pregnant and do not allow anyone to smoke near me period. After being confronted I even made sure to speak to the boys in the room to make sure they did not have it (considering it is legal in our hometown). Which was not in the room at all! After that we felt extremely uncomfortable and that all the staff was incredibly rude, and treated us noticeably different then the other guests. Even another guest staying at the same hotel seemed to have noticed and apologized to us in the elevator because she felt sorry on how we were being spoken to, as she has stayed here before and never had anything like that happen. It was extremely overpriced during our time there but it was the only hotel with availability. 800 dollars for 4 nights felt a bit extreme for the circumstances of our room. It also appears that I never received a deposit back either. But after how poorly we were treated I’m not bothering to call. Again will not be returning to this Hampton ever again, and I love the Hamptons I have stayed at prior to this one with no issues. I was majority let down.

Beds and pillows were not comfortable. Relatives across the hall from us and none of us had much sleep. Drain in sink would backup. Relatives fan in bathroom didn't work. Vanity was too high and stuck out in the front the way it was designed. Breakfast was fair. Not what we expected from a Hampton Inn.
