Stopped in speedway on 2/16/22 to get gas and a pack of smokes. Paid with my pay card just to have them put a hold on my remaining balance. Over a week later and the hold still on my card. This kind of thing is unacceptable. I can understand a hold up to 24hrs but a week or longer is not right. Especially when I went into the store to pay.

Speedway is always great. The one on Route 32 in Morehead is wonderful. It's always well stocked, neat, clean and even the ladies restroom is usually in order which is difficult in a public restroom. I love their food from their little kitchen you can order. Its fast to get and freshly made. The pizza is great at a great price. The fuel card always gets you a discount and if you use it in conjunction with your Speedy rewards card, you can get a pretty good discount. Great place and great staff.

Normally the staff is friendly but today the red head that works in a cafe was extremely rude. When I asked to speak to a manager he was also rude. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and you don't talk to the customer that way. You don't snatch things away from them and you don't give them attitude. I am currently on the phone with corporate now.
