Wonderful staff who stick with you throughout your job searching process. Amazing communication, and give you updated information when available. Elias is very professional and will send in your application to job that fits the requirements.

Very helpful and diligent staff, would suggest this organization to anyone, they are professional and thorough. You may want to avoid staff member Honella Davis however, she is an alcoholic who will NOT get the job done, seek another if you find yourself assigned to her. Thank me later.

My friend and I went there when we first moved to New Haven and the office had just opened. I remember several prospective applicants getting upset when told they couldn't help them because they didn't live in New Haven and were not told in advance. My counselor did not stay in communication with me and the whole process took several months to fit me in a job which I had very little experience in. My friend's counselor, Ashley, was very rude and unprofessional.

If you are a member of NHW your job coach can help you. Or you can ask the main library on Elm St if you can book a room to work in for your interview
In order to register, you must go to the office and sign up for an orientation. You will have to show up with ID, proof of citizenship, a resume and number of other things. The best thing is to call them directly to get that started.
