I cannot say enough nice things about this pharmacy. I live in Edgewater and don't drive so when the Duane Reade near me closed, I was freaking out because there were no other pharmacies near me within walking distance. On top of that I get a cpl of prescriptions that are controlled substances so not all pharmacies will deliver them to me. Americare was suggested to me about 6 months ago or so and I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with them so far. I've never actually been there in person but whenever I speak to the pharmacist, Dave, on the phone he's just as nice as can be & they deliver my prescriptions right to my front door. One of my medications I've had some issues with other pharmacies not having in stock and having to order it which can be an ordeal b/c I will go into withdrawal without it but they usually have it in stock and if they don't have the whole thing they give me as much as they have and then just bring the rest the next day. So not only are they very courteous but they're very convenient too. I even got a message from them wishing me happy birthday which I just thought was the nicest thing. Very grateful to have found them and would highly recommend them to others!

Besides the great service, price and patient focus I hear from several friends who are devoted, do not be shy to ask Dave for his (honest) advice with lot of experience. Unlike the big box stores he is sharp and attentive and its his bottom line - the patients are not just another prescription to fill for a job.
