The Little Red Barn Lamp shop is so wonderful. The owners are the nicest people and have such a talent for finding and restoring amazing antique lights. We are slowly making our way around our house and replacing the light fixtures with beautiful gems from the Little Red Barn. Great help on lampshades. Very knowledgeable on lamps & lampshades. Don’t let her sell your houseful of antiques though. When I bought lampshades, she told me to NOT take my things to a Goodwill, instead bring to her to sell. She assured me that she could sell our family heirloom pieces & antiques & she that has connections with coin experts, art experts, antique knowledge, clock experts and that she would research Antique prices on EBay, the Internet, etc. to get the top dollar for you. She took a huge truckload of things & finally sent a measly check - not itemized. Not sure how or where she unloaded all of the furniture, paintings, tons of silver pieces, silverware, 2 sets of china, antique clock, dishwater, Tiffany money, & many other things from a NYC apt. but if I knew, I’d attempt to go buy back some of our favorite pieces. Bringing up the subject is forbidden in our home since it’s too painful.

Nice people. Not pushy. Cordial and willing to help. Great selection of lampshades and all things related to lighting. They have a good eye for quality and stock their shop with good items. I've only been a few times. I suspect I'm a new regular customer to stop and browse.

Yes, several times! Rewired lamps, helped me with correct size lamp shades, adjusted lamp cords, and given me a lot of advice on what is right and wrong with light fixtures, such as length for hanging light fixtures.as well. Their selection of lamp shades is very good. There are a lot of antiques there, and they are knowlegeable about old light fixtures. So glad I stopped by there out of curiosity several years ago.
Since this is a holiday weekend, I did not know if you would be open. I will have about an hour drive to get there. I will try again next weekend, hope to make contact before then. I was told you were the place to go (by a competitor, no less). Hope all is well and you are still operating.
Sorry we were sick that day if you had just called even while you were there we could have told you the reason we were not open. Normally we are open and have been open for 32years on every Saturday and Sunday except during sickness or death in the family and I think one vacation during that time. Sorry we missed you and do hope you will come again.
