It took long wait than promised. I was told to come next time even after waited for 3 hours. Rep. Was Edgar and his behavior was so rude. When I asked him to call manager, he declined and handing me over car keys and told me to come later. Somehow managed to talk to manager and manager help me but no improvement in time. I had to wait to get alignment done. My full day went in vein. And manager didn’t talk a sigle word with Edgar for his rude behavior and offer me free car wash. He was knowing i am running late for my scheduled next activity, so no point of getting free car was and in fact it was not the ultimate solution. I don’t think the issues was handled carefully that satisfy customer. I am not going to use Downey car care anymore. If given the choice I would rate negative considering the service prices they take. Only reason I was going there because their location is near from my home, but with this experience I will never consider going back. Frustrating that Edgar told me that coolant level is low and manager later told me that all is good, not sure who was right, may be one of them not competent.

Every time I use Downey Car Care I know my truck is in good hands. The prices are what you would expect from quality repairs yet much lower than dealerships. They are honest, when you ask them to check something out they do but never have they up sold or replaced something that didn't need replacing. Mike Carro handled my service experience and provided spot on communication throughout the process. I won't take my truck to anyone else....and yes! They washed my truck for free.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. Cost was reasonable compared to the dealer and other local shop quotes. Service was prompt and they even cleaned my car! I'd definitely recommend Downey Car Care Center to friends and Family. The text notifications are a good touch as are the follow up calls to update you throughout the process. They are fast, reliable, honest and priced reasonably.
