I fully support law enforcement as a member of a law enforcement family. Having said this, please know i say this with zero rencor or animosity. This division is a travesty. Please chief putney, let your officers actually do their jobs before charlotte becomes another detroit. Or dont, and dont cry when all the businesses and tax payers pull out.

The Police Division offices are open for daylight hours, because no clerical staff is available at night or on weekends. If you need to make a report of an accident or more serious crime you should always dial 911 to have an officer dispatched. Non-emergency reports can be made on line at cmpd.org or by calling 311 and asking for non-emergency police services.
Check your credit report as well. If someone has stolen your identity, call 311 and ask for non-emergency police to make a fraud report.
Jury notices are mailed from the Mecklenburg County Courts. You might try calling court information 704-686-0400.
