We being living in Shelby for 2 yrs we moved from Las Vegas NV and the Shelby police are the most friendly we ever know. We walked at the Shelby park every day and we see them checking on people and make sure we are safe. They say hi all the time. In Las Vegas they are not friendly. Shelby police you can talk to them and they always smile back at you. I'm happy to live in Shelby and be a part of this beautiful town. Thank you for taking care of us. KUDOS TO THE SHELBY POLICE DEPT.

I was pulled from my home in the middle of the night without even the courtesy of a reason why. I was told I had a warrant but no warrant was produced. I was forcefully grabbed for asking why I was being arrested. I was repeatedly told "I don't have to tell you anything" whenever I asked the arresting officer a question. I was forced to sit in someone else's piss while waiting to be fingerprinted. I called 911 for assistance (who else do you call when you're suffering an injustice at the hands of the police?) and was laughed at. I asked for some type of document with the officers name of it and was told I would be leaving with something identifying the officer, but he didn't have to tell me anything. I left with NOTHING identifying the officer. I was forced to make a 2nd bond on the same charge. First it was 10000 this time was 5000...for the same charge!!! The sad part is, this isn't the first time. Where do the poor blacks go for help? Definitely not to the shelby police or 911.

My daughter was rearended by a large pickup truck yesterday while traveling east on Dixon Rd (HWY74). She was following me to ECU when she will start college on Monday. The officers were on the scene within minutes and their first concern was if my daughter was okay. She was visibly shaken and EMTs were called to check her for possible concussion/neck injusry. The officers and EMTs were very calming, professional and I can not thank them enough for the job they do. This was supposed to be a happy time for my daughter but because of the negligence of one driver it's become a nightmare.

It is public knowledge that in 2013 Shelby Native Annie Ruth Hunt Browner executed the Testate Estate Will & Trust of Johnny Bryan Hunt naming Towery Maurice Burris beneficiary. Contact Chief of Police , Springdale Ark Police. DOJ or FBI Ark / Charlotte NC
Witnesses with proof should contact FBI. Mortgage fraud is a Federal offense. Contact Chief of police if he has personal knowledge it should be easier to file complaints. A real estate attorney! Home title deed fraud is common when a property owner has a lot of properties & leaves the unattended.

👍Its Truth. Lynn Blanton estate trust was settled in 2013 beneficiary Towery M Burris. It was made public. Somehow the parcel property records are not showing his name
👍👍The 2013 Trust received by him was made public in The Shelby Daily Star. The Trust which involved Estate Will TOD Deed properties & acquired made up 50% of First National Banks assets as stated by him. Foothills. Re/Max etc began representing properties after his assistants & he began consulting with Realtors & brokers.
There is a lot of news circulating of this. In 2013 It was a publicly announced Trust due to its enormity. If there are issues with police contact DOJ. Mortgage Fraud Contact FBI Contact Estate Will records in the county of the deceased.
