Diriba was very responsive. We had mold in our attic. They removed the mold, pulled insulation away from blocked air vents, put in hepa filters to get rid of smell. They were courteous and professional, they even repaired some damage caused by birds or squirrels, they didn’t over charge us and cleaned up when they were done. I highly recommend and am very satisfied!

I highly recommend PuroClean of Happy Valley! We called Diriba the day of a dryer fire in our basement. He came after hours that same day and set up multiple air scrubbers immediately. He and his crew worked tirelessly to clean the house. Diriba was so helpful walking us through all the steps needed to make our insurance claim. I found PuroClean to be hardworking, honest, trustworthy and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Diriba and his crew to anyone needing restoration services!

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience using PuroClean. I had a lithium ion battery inside a Bluetooth speaker that exploded so badly that the insurance company considered it a total loss. There was a fine powder of black soot coating every surface of the interior, including the cloth seats and the cloth interior roof material. I chose to keep the car but needed someone to clean every inch of the toxic residue. Diriba and his team employed several techniques and pieces of equipment to tackle this almost impossible task. It was absolutely not a straightforward job, but I was given a fair price for the work, which was done promptly and in the time frame stated. He was very clear about what he could and could not do as some of the damage was more permanent. I really appreciated that straightforward, up front honesty and management of expectations. The final result was amazing! I really didn't know how much of this problem could be resolved and the car looked fantastic! He even had the outside washed so when I got it it was totally clean inside and out. He was also really communicative and answered all my questions completely. I would absolutely use them again and encourage you to check them out.

PuroClean of East Portland | Aug 18, 2019

Mold releases microscopic mold spores into the air. Since mold spores are airborne, all homes have mold spores in them, some more than others. Mold grows in homes because almost all homes meet the requirements of mold growth: moisture, nutrients (such as cellulose), and time.

How can you determine water damage in a house?

You can check the walls and ceilings for water stains, the floors for warping and buckling, and the pipes for corrosion, leaks, missing grout, and mold. Attics and basements may have damaged flooring, mildew or mold, dampness, and odors. Also, be sure to inspect the exterior of the home for cracked roof tiles, puddles, standing water, and whether the ground is sloping away from the house.
