We walked the trail, it was an easy flat 1+ mile loop. We enjoyed seeing a large doe eating in the marsh. A lovely little nature walk. The trail was free.

Easy trail making its way along the prestine Merriland River. Many places to stop and take it all in. Impeccably clean and well maintained. Well worth a visit for an easy, short walk around a scenic area

1 miles loop trail. Well maintained trail, although some parts are under repair. Several outlook stopping points, with benches spaced out throughout, one outlook features a chronolog photo capture spot which is cool interactive way to participate. In the winter, the trail can become icey, so wear appropriate foot gear. No trash barrels available, must remove your own waste. Dog friendly.

What a lovely and easy to walk trail for visitors of just about any mobility level to enjoy! Take in the natural beauty and if you are lucky you might see migratory species of birds at the right times of year. Views of the marshes are quite beautiful also.
