The food, staff and service were excellent. Our breakfast came out pretty quick and came out exactly the way we wanted. Despite the restaurant being packed, our waitress was constantly checkin in with us to see how everything was or if we needed anything else.

We had so much fun here at this spot! The staff is very friendly and it's nicely packed with patrons. Seems to be a very popular spot and I'm sure it's a combination of delicious food and gracious staff. The cod cake Benedict was very special.

Maine diner was constantly busy. When they cleared a table people were standing there to sit down. It was like this the whole hour or more we were there. However service was good. The food was decent but not the best seafood we had along the Maine Coast. The Lobster was a bit chewy and the chowder was not thick more brothy. It was still an enjoyable meal and would certainly recommend trying the Triple D if your a big Guy fan. One of us could not eat all of it though.

Unfortunately we had a cook test positive for covid. As a precaution, we are closed until we can get the other cooks tested to make sure that we are maintaining a safe environment for our guests and employees. We are hoping to be open again Thursday, provided all parties involved test negative. Fortunately, we believe this issue is isolated to the kitchen.
We stay opened year round.
According to their website, they are closed for annual maintenance and will reopen on January 25.

Fresh lobsters are available year round. This year has been especially good so the prices have dropped. Winter is a great time to get your lobstah fix on, its cold outside and the claw is hot. Talking about a wicked awesome adventure... Come on up and get some.
