Our regular place in Wells was closed for vacation so went to the fancier place on the hill. Ordered a scorpion bowl. This is what we got. Looked like an old toilet complete with a chip. Our server was new and very nice. Manager said the only bowl they had. $19.00 for a toilet bowl full of pineapple juice and not much alcohol. At least manager took it off the bill. We added the cost to servers tip. Food was quite underwhelming. Will not go back. Their brunch buffet was good once upon a time.

28 health code violations in 2022! As regular customers, I cannot believe that owners and workers would put our health at risk like this! Taking leftover food off people’s plates and reserving it to others is unconscionable! Dead rats near the food?! Shame on you East! Never again! If they open again STAY AWAY! Hopefully the State of Maine refuses to reissue your license!! All involved should be ashamed of themselves!
