Prior to the covid shutdown, our new Starmark kitchen was in the process of having touch-ups that were included with the installation package. Parts still needed to be ordered, and cabinet imperfections required repair. After COVID regulations began lifting, none of their contractors wanted to enter homes. So we waited and waited. Finally, when covid got more manageable, our designer retired, and no one from the office would return our many calls to complete repairs. Months went by until we threatened litigation. They refused to have their contractors return and told us in order to send someone, we had to pay them $2000 even though the contractors were supposed to come back during covid. Below are the photos of how they left our kitchen. The garage hinges don’t have covers. The inside of the garages was left with exposed screws and frayed wood. Also, be aware they don’t align the bottoms of the uppers evenly, leaving spaces and ridges. They also don’t cover the exposed wood on the wine glass hanging area. One of two of my dishwasher cabinets was left with a large space, and it doesn’t touch the cabinet next to it, causing the dishwasher not to be correctly installed. Lastly, if you use Direct Depot Kitchens, they do NOT seal the bottom of the cabinets that sit on the counter. If water spills, the wood expands, cracks and bubbles. I regret using them for my dream kitchen. Every time I look at my cabinets, I hate them.

Direct Depot Kitchen Cabinets in Little Falls NJ is awesome!!! From the initial step of choosing cabinets, then planning my kitchen layout, through delivery of the cabinets to my home, it has been a great experience. They went went above & beyond in customer service. When I ordered my cabinets I was told to expect a 30 week wait for delivery. Unheard of I know, but the cabinets came in way early (surprise). Usually a good thing, BUT I was leaving town for a couple of weeks and my contractor wasn’t able to start my work so early. We had both expected late May to early June for work to commence. Furthermore, these cabinets could not be delivered to me since there was no place to put them. When, in a panic, I spoke to my designer at Direct Depot, he arranged for the company to hold them for me—no charge!!! Then, when it came to the time to deliver to my home these stored cabinets, Jeff was an absolute prince! He could not have done any more than he did to get my cabinets to my home. He went out of his way to get them to us in perfect time for my contractor to put in. And I tell you this whole delivery situation because it was a very stressful situation on both sides. Jeff came through with flying colors!! He went waaay out of his way to get them to me in time…special truck & whatever delivery day my contractor asked for. I would recommend Direct Depot without any reservations whatsoever for a completely wonderful design & delivery experience.

order some cabinets in NOVEMBER 0f 2021. Told to expect delayed deliver, but should be by end of March, beginning of April. At the end of March i was told that was delayed again and should be by end of May. End of May i was told that cabinets were supposed to be shipped the week of June 13 to arrive before the 20th. Now, on June 16, I am told that cabinets will be shipped on June 20th. EACH time i have called, it has taken numerous phone calls to get to speak to anyone. While Roger, the designer was very nice and accommodating, the company is poorly responsive - even considering the delays in the COVID era. I would not buy from this company again.

We used Direct Depot years ago and had a positive experience so we felt inclined to use them again. The Starmark cabinets are awesome and there are too many options / customizations to count. The 3D design process also gives you a ton of control over what you can do. We had a weird layout with 20 cabinets so this was important. I've got to give it to Jeff who steered us through the entire process having to deal with a larger order in the height of supply chain issues and having our previous rep retire without warning in the middle of our design. The installers he hooked us up with who had to deal with the below delays as well were awesome too. He really did go above and beyond to harass Starmark and the shipping vendor for extremely poor performance on their parts and without him I think we'd still be waiting for our complete order. Starmark reps are rude and unprofessional so you really need someone like Jeff on your side to get any accountability from them. I get it that covid screwed up the world's supply chain but Starmark shipped all of our cabinets piecemeal, had one small one on backorder for an extra 10 weeks and forgot one entirely (after claiming it was present) delaying an additional 12 weeks. Despite the logistical issues I do truly believe that Direct Depot did their best given the difficult circumstances (which were worthy of concessions gained from Starmark) and wanted to show that in this review. We will be using them again when hopefully there isn't a global pandemic which should give Starmark and their shipping vendors time to get their acts together. ------------------------------------- Review from 2012 ------------------------------------- We met with bill in late January 2012 to only do some price comparisons for a two bathroom project. I really liked how Bill Hancock was able to do the virtual construction tour because it was accurate, informative, and actually helped us decide on the exact setup we wanted. When we finally met with Bill, which was always on late or weird hours at our request, he wasn't a pushy salesman, but very knowledgeable and understanding as to what we wanted and what would make the most sense in our rooms. He even showed us some additional discounts to the order through manufacturer sales and payment options that were a great help. The only bad thing about the experience is when checking us out, even though the entire order sheet had our specified stain on it, one section didn't and the manufacturer sent the wrong cabinets. This delayed our project by about 3 weeks! Regardless, we'll be talking to Bill again when we renovate our kitchen in about a year
