This Chamber of Commerce has been the friendliest out of 5 states I've lived in. When I first moved here Juli gave me maps and told me who what and where to go for DMV and utility companies. Then when I was ready to start my Business Juli was there to handle my Grand Opening, flyers, social networking and contacting newspapers. She really knows the history of Abbeville and all the store owners. She gives 100 + in helping you with. Her friendly caring southern charm.

Abbeville is a close-knit small town. The Chamber of Commerce is sort of a hub for most of the business community in Abbeville. The Executive Director, Kendall Gunter, and the rest of the staff do a good job of helping to make businesses more visible within the community. And they get calls almost daily asking for phone numbers and information about local businesses! Chamber membership in Abbeville, as in nearly any other market, is more about promoting a healthy business environment than providing any hard ROI on the actual membership dollars. A Chamber membership is NOT the same thing as a comprehensive marketing plan, nor should it be. But as a component of your overall efforts to remain visible in the community, you will find a membership in the Abbeville Chamber helps provide value to your business and the community.

I'm sorry you missed it, it was advertised on the Chamber's page several times, as well having been advertised in the Press and Banner.. As well as the Chamber's weekly newsletter.. It wasn't a Chamber event, but we did serve as the check in point as well as first stop on it. I feel certain that The Merchant's Association also would have Advertised on their page as well as the city's newsletter, and I think they even had it on the signs coming into the square..
That's not a chamber event. But you can find out from the city.
