Lindsey is a wonderfully skilled and intuitive massage therapist and health coach. She is methodical, mindful and very knowledgeable, plus she is very conscientious and good-hearted. I always feel so much better after my sessions with her. I'm certain that her bodywork is helping me stay active and healthy.

This is the first time in years I found success and control with my eating patterns and habits. I knew my eating habits were mainly emotional but also knew I wasn't understanding what foods to eat & what nutritionally I needed for my lifestyle. When I started to see Lindsey I felt out of control with my eating habits. After only a couple visits I understood some of the dynamics of why I am overeating, eating poor foods & began learning techniques to get control. Never did I feel deprived in between sessions. Lindsey helped me create a plan that felt true to me. She changed the way I looked at diet. It's not a diet. It's a plan to look inside ourselves to meet our goals on our terms. I've never been healthier or had so many food options to choose from. She inspired me to find the will to work on my issues and I've gotten my confidence back. It's so important and feels great to be in control! Along with eating habits Lindsey helped me to realize other areas of my life that needed attention, simplification, or reframing. Wow! I feel more settled and life is flowing more smoothly. Her plan is reasonable financially. As a full time student money can be tight. My investment in my sessions felt like just that. I actually started saving more money than ever because my plan included the need to budget! Not only did I get better, but now I'm saving money with my lifestyle changes!! See for yourself how Pernell Wellness will help you get control, health & success in your life. I knew I was ready for a change but just didn't know how to get through my hurdles and road blocks for a healthier life. Lindsey at Pernell Wellness helped me achieve this!

I have been going to Pernell Wellness for a few years now. I have been to other places for massages in the past, and Lindsay gives the best massage by far. She gives the perfect massage taking all my needs into consideration (areas to concentrate on, areas that may be tender, level of pressure, smell preferences, etc.). Her office is relaxing and inviting, as is her personality. Lindsay is a joy to be around and makes me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Pernell Wellness!!

Yes! 1. Increase your water intake the day before so your tissue is hydrated. 2. Show up 5 minutes early so you don't feel rushed and have time to get on the table so you can receive your full session 3. Plan ahead so you have time to take an epsom salt bath the same day you receive your massage.
Far infrared rays, which are actually on the light spectrum, are felt as heat. They can heat your body directly without significantly warming the air around you. The light waves penetrate deep into your body for a heating effect that allows more activation of your sweat glands compared to a dry sauna. So an infrared sauna doesn’t feel as hot as a dry sauna, but you sweat as much or more. This stimulates a natural detoxification process. Far infrared rays can help with: Stimulating the immune system, Rheumatoid arthritis, heavy metal toxicity, brain fog, anxiety and depression, pain relief, stress management, weight control, multiple chemical sensitivities, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue and more.
A Health Coach is a trained professional that supports individuals who are ready to make dietary and lifestyle changes so that they can move in the direction towards ultimate health. As a Health Coach, I meet you where you're at, and together we come up with a step-by-step plan to help you reach your wellness goals. We meet regularly so that there is accountability and designated time to address your health concerns, goals, and what might be getting in the way of reaching your goals. I take a holistic approach so we look at all areas of your life that can be contributing towards or detracting from your health (diet, exercise, job, creativity, relationships, spirituality etc).
I mostly practice therapeutic work to help clients with specific issues such as sciatica or neck tension. But the bottom line is that I customize my work to what's going on with the client. Every massage will be different depending on who you are and what issues might be going on with your body. For the specific styles of massage that I practice you can read more at http://pernellwellness.com/massage/techniques/
