This place is amazing, super responsive, honest, they really took care of me. One of my blue spruce died within warranty, and they came immediately without hesitation. Optimal customer service from Jackson and the rest of the Team. Best Nursery in STL, hands down.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! I have purchased from waldbart probably over 30 bushes and trees over the last 10 years. As I am getting older I cannot plant myself and I had to hire a contractor this last time., My contractor and I bought 21 plants and were told that as long as I kept my receipt the plants would be guaranteed for a year. One of my trees died, the most expensive one, and waldbart constantly told me on the phone and at the nursery that I was covered and they would replace the tree as long as I had the receipt and a picture of the Dead plant. But on this Friday, September 3rd, when I went to get a replacement, suddenly they said that they were not liable because I had used a contractor, even though I had been told to my face by Jack, Brandt and other workers several times that the plants were guaranteed by them for a year as long as I kept my receipt. There was never any mention of a contractor caveat. I wanted a blue spruce to replace the one that had died and was going to have to pay almost $300+ for a similar tree, as they had no replacement for my tree specifically. The $300 included a different tree Plus planting and delivery. I was flabbergasted , disappointed and outraged . Instead, afterwards, I went online, bought a smaller but similar plant that will grow to the same height for $50. If you want plants or trees, either Go to Lowe's, Home Depot, or online. I have never had any problems with any of my flowers , bushes , and trees bought from Lowe's or Home Depot. And my mother has used online nurseries for years. If you are unable to plant yourself and you need it planted if it is a large Plant, I recommend schmittel's off of hwy 141. They seem to have more varied plants anyway. If you need mulch, go to World Outdoor Emporium in st-charles. It was this Friday September 3rd, after being told countless times that my plants were warrantied for a year, I was told otherwise. So Do not work with these people. They tell you one thing and then tell you another thing. They do not , I repeat do not, warranty plants paid at the contractor price. But they do not tell you this at point of purchase. Nor do they take into account customer loyalty. They just tell you to read the fine print after you have made the purchase and you go back to claim warranty. 2 top it all, I was told by the supposed manager Jack "how dare I have the nerve to call him on a holiday" as it was Labor day even though the nursery was open, And it was his employee who called him. Plus I had been specifically told by his employee the Friday prior that Jack would be at the nursery on Labor Day. Again, additional misinformation. And I have read reviews where the supposed managers do not like to wait on women. I experienced this a couple weeks ago when I went to see if they had my replacement. I think it was Jack, when asked where their Pines were, flicked his arm in a general direction. I said take me there. He seemed indignant.
