my mom is currently a patient in this facility…they are so severely understaffed they are neglectful of their patients. My mom has a huge open wound that needs proper care because it is now infected and no one can care for it til Tuesday (in two days) cause they have no one to do it…ALL of her wounds are now infected and her WBC count is through the rough and they’re not doing anything about it!! She said she sits in her own pee all night because there is no one overnight to help her out. All she does is sit in a bed when this place is supposed to help her get better so she can go home. She didn’t come in with her wounds infected they became infected staying at this rehab.

My sister is presently in the subacute rehab unit at St.Mary’s Center. After being in other facilities, there is no doubt in my mind that St. Mary’s staff is by far the best in terms of quality, care and compassion. Melissa, the administrator at St. Mary’s, is professional yet friendly and approachable. Melissa has been at St. Mary’s for a very long time, having had numerous positions there in the past. Melissa recently has become the Administrator there and is doing an excellent job. The nursing supervisor and social worker are professional and communicate well with my sister and our family. The Rehabilitation Department is outstanding doing their absolute best in providing the best course of rehab possible. All of the nurses and CNAs are the best that my family has seen in terms of care, compassion and kindness. My family had a relationship with St. Mary’s over the past eleven years. We entrusted the care of my Dad, my Mom and my Aunt to both the rehab and long term care aspects of St. Mary’s. Overall, we were never disappointed. I would recommend St. Mary’s Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare either for a short term subacute stay or long term care if that be necessary.

One person for the whole wing my mother has on the same undergarment for the past 3 days she doesn't need a diaper they put a diaper on her because they're too lazy to take her to the bathroom they had french fries for the past 3 days sandwiches with one and a half slices of meat on it I have to go out every day and get my mother something to eat by the time they get the food she's extremely hungry and she's grabbing for it I found the food sitting on the sink not in front of her tonight because there's only one person here on the floor this is why I don't like these places and my mother is not ever coming back to any of them ever again I will be taking care of my mother myself no more nursing homes or so-called rehab centers and she has covid got it from here.
