Fairly short and easy trail through a low suspension bridge and part wood-decked, walkway with trees around. Many spots for photo opportunities with the right angle of lighting. Spectacular trees. But, don’t expect to see trees like the Redwoods in Cali.

Nice little trail with bathrooms at the trailhead. Small parking lot, get there early. Beautiful , blue water and giant trees.

Absolutely beautiful. It feels sacred and magical. We went in the late afternoon and the setting sun coated the forest in a warm glow. Because it was later in the day there were fewer people which was nice. This is an easy, short hike. Well …

Good place for kids, nice spots on the river to relax, and the bridge was pretty cool too! It's an easy trail with lots to see, but I do recommend getting there a little early as the parking lot can get full pretty fast. There is a bathroom on-site along with some picnic tables to eat at too!

Anywhere along eastside trail or silver falls trail is lovely
Grove of the Patriarchs is not accessible in the winter, due to heavy snowfall.
You can get in... but depending on snow.... you may not be able to "get in" ☺️
Pets are only allowed in paved areas (parking lots, picnic areas). No trails allowed
Silver Falls is the name of the trail. It's a little over a mile to the falls. Its a fairly easy out and back or you can continue past the falls and it will loop back near the park entrance.
There is handicapped parking but the trail itself would not be accessible
I'm not aware that it ever actually closes, but yes. The best times are from May-September. AllTrails and Washington Trails Association both have very good information.
It varies, dependent on when Kyuse pass opens after snow is gone. Kyuse pass is the hwy that connects White pass, hwy 12, to Chinook pass, hwy 410. Have fun!
Yes, youll need to enter Rainier National Park to access rhe grove of the Patriarchs.
I am a visitor, not a trail.
Trees spead out throughout the forest are of different sizes. You must be there to experience the sizes of what you are looking for. Its a must hike to go on.
