A great park for be away of "city noisy parks" 😁 this is a good place to be in touch with more "natural" nature 😀

The Battlefield itself is a large orchard that is well maintained and there are history info pavilions located around important areas of the Battlefield. The museum is a very clean and modern facility with well thought out dioramas of the events during the revolutionary war in the area. Definitely worth a visit for locals interested in the revolutionary war.

The actual reenactment starts at 1:30pm today.
You can drive some of the walking and picnic areas heading into the park. However you cannot drive beyond the visitor center or on the battlefield itself. The vistor center sits on a hill near where Washington's guns were stationed. The battlefield is mostly in the valley below. There are plenty of hiking trails on the battlefield.
Yes... big lot unless they are having an event like the Revolution War reenactmentd
Yes...on route 79 set back off the highway. It was Marlboro State Hospital.
Yes there is Charcoal grills. Not gas :-)
There is no camping allowed in the park. I believe they only allow it if you're part of the reenactment in June.
Start at the visitors center. They have a lot of interactive displays and you'll get an idea of everything that went on during the battle. Don't be afraid to reach out to the battlefield staff. They were all friendly and very knowledgeable how about everything that went on at Monmouth. The walking tour is self-guided and should take you about 90 minutes to complete.
That's a question for the staff in the Park. I do not remember seeing a list on display.
Of course, there are some very nice areas to take photos
Some of it is stroller friendly and the parking is free
Saturday and Sunday June 16-17 Battle reenactment
