I have read every review posted here as of June 28, 2022. I have been a patient visiting this lab location for at least ten years. Most negative experiences I encountered were pre-pandemic. The biggest challenge this location has appeared to have is/was insufficient staffing. Even up until late 2021, there still appeared to be a staffing shortage. In my opinion, operations have improved significantly since the end of 2021/early 2022. Today, there were two technicians checking in patients, while the phlebotomists were at work seeing patients. The facility appeared clean. My phlebotomist was great and she followed proper safety protocol. I arrived at 6:30am without an appointment, and was out the door by 7:00am. Patients were being checked in quickly, mainly by the kiosks. However, there appeared to be a glitch in the self check-in program as it was telling patients that "something went wrong" with check-in and to proceed to the front desk, which caused some minor confusion. That aside, the technicians were courteous and professional. They disclosed to me what tests might not be covered by insurance so I knew in advance. I can't speak to the specific negative experiences some reviewers have had. I assume LabCorp has an independent auditor scrutinizing their operations. Even if they don't, diagnostic laboratories are subject to numerous audits by multiple federal regulatory agencies, as well as Medicare and Medicaid and commercial insurers. The biggest issue I see with the LabCorp locations I have visited is space. The amount of patients at any time can cause some chaos and confusion. I think these locations would be better served if they could reevaluate their queuing and check-in procedures to help make things flow smoother and more efficiently. Overall, a painless experience. 👍

Tanya was the sweetest and best phlebotomist I have ever had! She was kind, gentle, and made me laugh early in the morning.

Lab tech who drew blood didn't change gloves. I had to ask her too. She then placed the alcohol swab on a counter and attemped to swab the injected site with it! I had to ask her6 to yse a diff swab. Unsanitary!!!
