Flew from NYC to NC on the weekend, I had a great experience feeding nature, specifically 12 mosquito bites within 5 minutes at Fearrington. Having booked almost a month ahead with 2 past confirmation phone calls (from Fearrington) before the actual reservation, I also epically failed to get a message from them about their STRICT dress code (no designer t-shirt or sneakers) and was told that they had that info on OpenTable — in the font size smaller than 12 deeply hidden in the page of reservation (see in OpenTable). So a friendly reminder to fellow food enthusiasts/diners!! Don’t forget to read the reservations CAREFULLY because you might be quizzed on them. No loaner jacket is available at this location either. As the result, excited about chef Paul Gagne’s takeover on the menu, I regrettably never ended up having the chance to try it. Hopefully, he is open to collaboration somewhere sometime!! Best of luck to this restaurant.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. The food was phenomenal. Jason was our server and he was very patient and accommodating with our family. I am not really aware of many places in NC where you can find food like this. We both did separate tasting menus. If you are a foodie or in the market for finding something new to try, or something prepared in a way you've never had it, I would highly recommend it. It was really impressive food and a great way to celebrate an important milestone.

We decided to celebrate our 20th anniversary here and what a great decision. We drove a hundred miles are so, for we had read the wonderful reviews. When we arrived early the wonderful hostess sat us in a quite private table. Her service began a incredible meal. We were then seated to our dinning area and met by an dream server Jason. He was the best and will never forget our experience there. Thanks Jason for your service. Planning to go back again and again.

The Granary no longer exists. In its place is The Belted Goat. No reservations needed.
