20 years ago Lowe's had decent customer service and you could find an employee with a working knowledge of materials, plumbing, electrical etc. This has completely gone down the drain. Windows were ordered for store pickup in another location which did not have them in stock so I was prompted to select another pickup location through the Lowe's website. Upon trying to pick up the items at this location we were told the items would need to be paid for again and we would receive a refund from the original location. Once the other location transfered the order information this was not even the case and no refund or additional payment was required. Customers do not need to be privy to Lowe's accounting methods and inner workings. Terrible customer service when we were only doing what the website prompted us to do. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with Lowe's over the years but this is the last time. I strongly recommend taking your money to smaller hardware and building supplies stores where you can actually get decent customer service even if it costs a few dollars more.

Pittsboro, continues to impress. The people I have met in stores, shops, various service industries, have all been helpful and kind. Lowe's is no exception. The uniformity of the stores throughout the country, helps to make shopping in Lowe's very easy.

had everything we needed for renovation project at home. also huge selection of Christmas decorations, trees, poinsettias and large and small indoor and outdoor decorations. Caleb, Dee and the manager Jason were all very helpful today. Bought a new mop on this trip.

I tried to purchase some clearance plants marked 75% off. The cashier didn't know how to ring them up so she refused to honor the price and told me I'd have to take care of it after I purchased the plant for regular price. I'm not purchasing a half dead plant for full retail so I was unable to purchase the plants at all. This was extremely frustrating.
