We are fortunate enough to be long time clients and get house calls for two of our dogs. Dr. Wheatley and Andi are very professional, helpful and kind. I am so grateful that Dr. Wheatley does house calls.

Absolutely top tier as far as veterinary services go. The staff is empathetic, caring, and very patient. Services are reasonably priced and the building is beautiful. I 100% recommend Greenbrier vet for anybody

Third time at this vet’s office. Always ends up being an expensive visit. On this most recent trip the “front desk” became very rude and defensive after I asked about details they mentioned on the phone when the appointment was set. My wife and I were both there and remember it clearly. Not a big deal when looking at nearly a $300 bill but the way they responded was as if I was lying. Didn’t leave a great impression overall with our family or pets.

: 🙄 dr just gave me medicine based on what I was telling her my pets symptoms were. No tests or exams were ran like I wanted and this could've resulted in me coming back and spending more money on more meds. No ma'am. I gave my pet some natural remedies and her little issues went away eventually... like how are you just gonna give me medicine based on symptoms instead of test to see if there is a major underlying problem? I'm tired of paying to ease symptoms , I want it cured all together 🙄

Questions & Answers

Are they greyhound savvy? I ask because not all vets are.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do treat several regular patients that are greyhounds.

Do you remove cat nails surgically?

There is no way to remove the nail itself surgically. When a declaw is performed, it is removing the last bone in the toe (to which the nail is attached). It is a very serious surgery with a lot of potential complications. We do perform declaws, but only after we have had a chance to talk to the owners about all other options and make the best decision for the pet and family. We do offer nail trims daily for a small fee as a technician appointment!
