Stopped in to gringos for some breakfast. The small restaurant had a line out the door. We thought that was a good sign. So we waited 20 plus minutes in line to place our order. We ordered two mimosas, two omelettes, one order of the chicken biscuits and two bottles of water. Our bill was $66. The mimosas are small. The food was below average at best, the omelettes were small. The best part of the whole meal was the small pieces of chicken inside the biscuits. You get a slice of toast with your meal, no butter. The grits are absolutely horrible. And the hash browns, I can’t even say. I didn’t eat them because they were cheap potatoes out of a bag. Please save your time and money and go to any one of the much better breakfast choices in Hilton head. I gave them two stars because of the waitress, she was outstanding. She hustled. She takes everybody’s order, buses all the tables and waits on all the tables. She deserves five stars but not the food. Will not be returning

small, tip at the register BEFORE you know anything about food service and quality...but the food was good, friendly staff, indoor/outdoor seating
