Great food at reasonable prices along with an entertaining staff.

Harold’s Diner is an institution in Hilton Head Island. It’s located a mile from Palmetto Dunes. It’s open for breakfast and lunch everyday but Sunday until noon. What makes this diner a great find is affordable, delicious food. The breakfast choices are many from Omelettes to pancakes, French toast and breakfast sandwiches. My family ate at Harolds Diner twice on our vacation. The omelettes and pancakes were delicious, the coffee was hot and fresh and the personality coming from the short order cook (owner) were priceless. Very gruff and too the point. He is very demanding of his side kick behind the counter but very deliberate and organized in getting the food out. Seating at Harold’s is at the counter or choosing between six small tables. There’s a great mix between regulars and tourists with entertainment stemming from the cooks and reading the wide array of stickers hanging all over the joint.

They offer banana or blueberries with your French toast or pancakes....that's the only fruit I know of....
We have not - and agree with Andre - would be hard to fit a film crew in the place. We would not entertain this any way. It's a good question, but not something that would interest us and likely not them either. And FYI, we are the ONLY Harold's.

No online. Very oldschool cash only place. Thats what makes it one of my favorites. Very cool experience.
Sorry can't help you on that one.. if i was a betting man I would quess their hamburgers .. he loves hamburgers ....UPDATE.. I talk to the owner he did not eat there ..
Not sure where you get that question from Doug. I've known many of folks from all over including OH that go there. Last I knew everyone was welcome there as long as they bring cash!
