the staff here is amazing! I went in today to ask if I could find out when i purchased my Merrell hiking boots from them becuase I couldnt find it on 'my purchases' online. I had a lace strap rip and they said "WE"LL give you a new pair" since they were only 6 months old. I was completely planning on asking merrell about it even though it wasnt the end of the world that the lace loop broke. It was just under the metal lace loop that cinched your ankle tightness. Dominique was so awesome - LOVE LOVE LOVE REI....will never buy any other outdoorsy stuff anywhere else.

They do not carry skis or ski boots at the Greensboro location. They do carry them online. The closet stores that do carry ski boots I believe will be in Virginia.
Yes, the REI gift cards can also be used on-line as well as in store.
REI is a retail store, no membership required. But... the membership gets you earned credit towards future purchases. You get members only discounts and invitations to members only events! It's worth it.
