Mailed back to DMV? That would indicate you had listed the wrong address when applying, or Post office misdelivered, it was then "refused", and "returned to sender", which having worked as a Rural Route USPS carrier years ago is standard ops. YOU will need to contact DMV and let then know you didn't get it. They will probably require additional "proof" of your residency. If you moved to that address fairly recently, I suggest you also check the post office has you listed as receiving mail there, and not being on "hold", or forwarded somewhere else for work or school. Best way would be to just go online and set up and appointment, usually not to busy there, depends on the person I guess. But I'm usually in and out at woodland. Just make.sure you have all the right paperwork. You should be fine website helps a lot

Rosalind, It can take a few weeks, and possibly up to 30 days, before receiving your new license. I would pay for it early so you do not run the risk of being without it.

Yes you can maean appointment online or on their 800# BUT The appointments are booked up / until August 20018 are times available. I am at Woodland office now & the wait line is out the door 15 people deep! My roommate waited 1 hour just to get in their door & I dropped him off @ 9:15am.The best way is to bring a good book and a snack and go an hour (or even earlier!) before DMV opens 8:00am & start the line.
