Crew is very incompetent. Was flying to Hawaii and our flight unfortunately was having technical difficulties on our layover from Denver to California (to refuel because it was too hot to do so in Colorado??), then to Hawaii. We were told all day that the plane would be fixed soon, to then us leaving on a plane that was coming from Chicago. Well that planes front tire went bad after landing so now thats 2 damaged planes. The tire is getting fixed, but now they have no crew members so we have to wait for a new crew. New crew comes around, we board, are about to take off, and wouldn't you know...1 crew member staying on board would've illegally done overtime, so we got kicked out the plane again and now they have no idea where our luggage will end up... After an hour waiting in the customer service line for a hotel voucher, they said they've given 500 vouchers that day, so we can't expect to receive more, as if it was our fault. Then at the end of the line we were told that we MAY be able to get a $10 meal voucher. After some back and forth I was given $20 meal vouchers for each person in my group and the ability to be compensated for a hotel. All in all it was an TERRIBLE 1st time experience with them.

Usually, I fly American airlines but this time we went through Orbitz and our departed flight was through United and our return flight was with American. Check in with United was a nightmare and on top of that they made me check in a small Nike carry on bag and my wife had the same bag and she charged us $35 all she would not give us our boarding pass. With American we did not have to deal with any of this nonsense. I will make sure all flights I take for now on will not be United.

Very rude check in . Service should be nice , helpful but the lady was rude for checking in at Charlotte Airport. She works for service , she should be nice. I have traveled many places ,many airports in the world . She is the worst. All people works at the custom they are very nice. I supposed Airline staffs should be nice but she made me so disappointed.

You can call the airline in advance or ask them about getting a wheel chair at the baggage check counter
