Would not recommend for single woman for elderly woman to call for a quote. My sweet mama sister Mary Frances Cannon used these movers twice as her community well they call themselves a community. Sisters of Saint Francis the Newman community provided monies to hire movers. Actually the second time I ended up footing the bill for a lot of it, did most of the work, encouraging, pep talking, buying lunch, and of course tipping. Oh by the way, forgot to mention title of this is people don’t be right, and they never well. So the total bill plus tip and lunch was over 4 times what I just paid another moving company to move me less distance. The travel time was maybe 15,20 minutes at the most. They sent 2 employees and a big truck. That stuff was unloaded out of the truck, things were put wherever they wanted to, we were talked over, things were broken, floors were scratched, Leather furniture was torn, I am worst of all an antique lamp was broken. Not something you can fix. Unfortunately we never got any money back or any positive or fair response from this company. They offered my mom $25 for the lamp that was what they estimated the value was. It seems these days people are like robots repetitive robots. They Took advantage of my mom as an elderly woman and there were several harassing comments made by a male employee. I am only doing this in hopes that other women will not have to endure the abusive treatment that she did. You don’t ever really know what’s going on with a person, therefore you should always be kind and fair no matter what. They definitely gained more than we got. And then when it was brought to their attention they took no responsibility I wanted to correct their wrongdoing. Sadly, this happens to us every day somewhere.

I filled out the information online for a quote. Waited a couple of days without hearing from anyone so I called them. The woman I spoke with said she would send me the quote and information to my email. It's now a few days later and still never received anything. I went ahead and booked with another company that called me back within minutes. Apparently they aren't hurting for business.

Avoid this company. They damaged almost every single piece of furniture they handled. From the looks of it, they just didn't wrap the furniture and drug it across the ground. Scrapes, chips all over my wooden furniture. They broke one of my shelves and lost the dowels for the bookshelf. Also they somehow got white paint on my desks. After contacting them about the damages they said they contacted a vendor to come repair the damages, that was 2 weeks ago and still no word.
