Hells gate is definitely one of the best haunted houses I have been to. In fact I would rate it the second best haunted house I have ever been to (Massacre being the first) The outdoor trail through the woods and the cemetery is great. …

Top 10 in the USA! The best entrance/intro I have ever seen. So many things to look at and scare the hell out of you in every room. Nice flow and organization on the whole operation. Oh and I also got married there.

All I can say is wow! Drove 3 and a half hours and this place did NOT disappoint! Sents absolutely phenomenal the first room inside the haunt with the theatrical story set up absolutely AMAZING!! Sets were gorgeously laid out, characters were super fun especially while waiting to go into the woods and house. We had an absolute blast! Will definitely be coming back on a busier night just to check out more interactions, totally worth it thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

I was ok I don't scare eaily the set was cool but it was packed the lines were super long took 2 hours just to get to the entry point that blew me but for a attraction it was cool not scary enough for me if you scary easy it's a good place for a family outing but for me not even.

I wish for obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice, giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake
It was close to 1.5 hours for us Saturday night. Could be shorter normally
Na, it's very uncommon in the US to allows that. I've heard rumors of hardcore haunted houses that are on the underground scene but I hear you have to be in with that crowd in order to find them.
Open 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm October 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 30 & Halloween Night. Open 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm October 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 and November 1 & 2.
Nope, tickets start at $28. You can head over to HellsGate.com to see all ticket prices.
Yes! There is a short slide; but no falling through floors it just takes you to a different level. Have a Great time you will Love it!
Actors*?
Don't be cheap and pay for the speed pass. Then you won't have to cry about how long you waited in line. The extra ten dollars is worth it. Also do yourself a favor and look for the twice the terror tickets. You get a discount on both Hells Gate and Statesville. It's well worth the money for both and you get the speed pass for both.
HellsGate is not open in 2020
Unfortunately, no. See you in 2021!
From their site - Q: Is there an age requirement for admittance? A: Yes, a parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 16. HellsGate Haunted House is not recommended for children under 12, but you know your child better than we do.
14 or older is recommended. Anyone younger should be accomplished by an adult.
Yes. Several times a night, in fact. They post photos of key winners on Facebook to prove this.
Come with as many people as you want.

The, “getting wet,” is a light mist. Park at the Metra Lot, and you will get on a bus, and be brought to the attraction, in the middle of the woods.
The attraction will be open for the 2019 season! I seem to remember there being 8, or more, ports potties. The slide isn’t extremely fast, and you get off on your feet. Here are the dates for the attraction in 2019: Open 7:00pm-10:00pm October 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 30, and Halloween Night. Open 7:00 pm-11:00 pm October 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, and November 1 & 2.
No. Unfortunately they are not. Legacy Adventure Park is open right now but haunts owned by Zombie Army Productions only run during the Halloween month/ season. They've opened for some special events lately but they're not continuously open, no.
No, but Massacre Haunted House, Basement Of The Dead, and many other haunted house attractions will be.
Nope. Zombie Army Productions, the producers of the attraction, try to change 30%, or more, of the haunt every year/season.
Plant of porta John's b4 u go in and after u come out.
We can scan the code from your phone, you still have to redeem any tickets from the ticket window for a hard copy ticket.
Yes I have known people who have used Groupon. Also as long as it is not a torrential downpour the show will go on...
You can Buy tickets at the door....$28.00, $40.00 V.I.P., and up.....: ) Or buy Online.....
We do have mulch laid down on majority of outdoor paths. Our mudd manager has said on a scale of 1 to 10 we are at a 2/10 mud scale.
The attraction includes, fog, lighting, and more, to enhance your experience.
The slide isn’t very large. The slide isn’t extremely fast, either. There is a set of stairs next to the slide, but I’ve never walked down them, or seen anybody else do so.
There are strobe lights, fog, and much more, to enhance your experience.
I'm not sure if I remember correctly there was 6, I was a group of only 4 and they added 2 more. You can always ask the person at the line to allow all of you to be together.
The actor auditions will be held September 6th, from 4pm-8pm, and September 7th, from 12pm-4pm. The attraction and business are very professional, so you can’t just show up to scare. If you audition, and get a role/part, you will need to participate in multiple training days, to prepare you for the up-coming season. Note: Keep in mind, the audition dates I provided are for the 2019 season.

The actors do not touch the people visiting so the visitors should not touch the actors. And yes there are security cameras throughout the property and yes they have had people arrested for hitting an actor before.
Yes there are in certain rooms. If you crouch down or go against something. You'll be fine.
You will be perfectly fine I was in the group of nine fantastic time there and also don't forget to look for the key if you can find it you will get your money back one of our group members did
I wouldn’t recommend, this extreme of an attraction, for a child, as young as him. The haunt includes intense scenes and atmosphere, plus live actors.
The tickets for the attraction start at $28, and go up from there. The prices are the same for adults and kids, although kids aren’t supposed to participate in the haunt, due to it’s extreme nature.
It really depends and how many people are there in line but I guarantee you is well worth it
Yes, they are open until 11pm. You have to park at the train station and they have Bus's that shuttle you over. Just follow the signs they're posted as you drive into Lockport for Hell's Gate
