This is an easy and very calm hike. Hike/trail takes about 1.5 -2hr to complete. Make sure bring off spray for insect repellent for protection. There’s no bathroom, make sure u stop by service area.

Very nice and calming place. Plenty of trails, and little nooks with hidden gems for those that pay attention and don't stick to the beating path.

One of the most beautiful hiking trails within easy access of New York City! Let's hope it stays that way.

One of the best places to have a journey out to nature and have an introspective look into your inner thoughts and contemplate life not just on the surface level but in the whole spectrum. Most of the time you just can't do that while living in a big city.

No, the AP is further down the road shortly after you cross over Bear Mt bridge.

Is there a lake or pond or river at AP/Glenclyffe where public can swim ?

If you cross the bridge over the railway (five min walk on the path from the station) and turn left, that will take you down to the Hudson River.
