VSO office representatives Columbia Tennessee, Here is a question.? Do you get a kick back or bonus for Veterans you kick out the door with little or no research they're not entitled to the benefits that are available . Horrible incompetent and will tell you anything just to get you out of their office. Still waiting on that call From June 2021, M Lewis. You office phone service has been down.

Questions & Answers

Are there veterans in need of household items such as computer desks, clothes, kitchen items, wall decorations and other household items in general? If so, who do we see or how do we get in touch with them?

We have not had any request for household items for veterans. But that could be due to other local veteran organizations having those request. If you do have some items that you would like to donate, call the office and we will let you know if there is anyone that are looking for those items.

There are a few things that need to be looked at. First did the veteran serve during a time of war. If so then the veteran should be eligible for Aid and Attendance. This would allow someone to help take care of the veteran. Second, are there any diagnosis that can be related to their military service? The veteran could be able to file a compensation claim. Third, is the veteran enrolled in VA Healthcare? The medications that he is paying out of pocket for, could possibly have the VA send them to the veteran for free. Please give the office a call so that we can discuss this futher.

Yes you would be eligible for pension due to serving during a time of war. You can call the office and we would be able to better assist you with getting paperwork filled out and ready to be turned into the VA for you.
