I was referred to AFC by a friend and I decided to give them a try. With that being said, the place is amazing. The process was quick and Mary Ann, the nurse practitioner, is helpful and extremely sweet. Highly recommend!

Very professional and friendly staff. Never too busy which makes the visit a quick one. Pharmacy is in the same building which make this place a one time stop for getting doctor's care and medication.

Yes they do.

I was diagnosed last Friday with the flu. I have just finished my Tamiflu and am not feeling any better yet, do I need more or just wait it out?

I'm not a doctor, but I was sick with the flu recently. I got symptoms on a Friday. Started Tamiflu Sunday. Finished Tamiflu Thursday. Not completely well until Sunday. Typical flu strains last 7 to 11 days. Tamiflu doesn't cure or stop the flu. It generally cuts 1 to 1.5 days off the suffering. In other illnesses, like sinus infections, antibiotics are prescribed. They kill the infection quickly. Antibiotics don't work on viruses like the flu. Viruses have to run their course. Tamiflu just helps you get better quicker. Best wishes, try ibuprofen for relief. Rest and drink plain water. I hope you feel better in the next two or three days :)
