The dude from Geek Squad suggested to me that I deactivate Microsoft Encryption on my personal device when I picked it up, against my suggestion to keep it enabled. I currently have protection plans still, but they will be the last business I do with Best Buy most likely. I do NOT recommend Geek Squad and the ideas they provide. UPDATE: 7/28/2022 I now have picked my computer up from Geek Squad for the second time and device encryption is enabled again in addition to they repaired the damage to a great working condition once again. I WOULD recommend purchasing an accidental device protection plan when conducting business with Best Buy. Thank you for following through.

I buy a printer here. Was told real easy to hook up and I joined the geek squad thing for $200. Well printer very hard to hook up. So much so that the geek squad people themselves couldn't do it, not really sure that they couldn't do it or wouldn't do it. So two trips at 25 plus miles each way a complete waste of time and money. Not to mention that the first time I showed I was told that I needed an appointment, they gave us one for the next day. When I show up still made to wait after people with no appointment. Spent a good deal of money here in about a months time ($4,000+) not sure if I'll be back.

Very poor customer service We brought in a tablet, that we purchased for our grandson for christmas. The charging port broke and it couldn't be charged. The tablet was still under warranty and they informed us that they didn't service Samsung and that we would be better off buying a new one as they had some on sale. What the hell kind of service is that. I ended up contacting Samsung directly, they sent a shipping label and took care care of the problem. If this is the kind of service they want to provide, there's alot of other places to shop.

Don't upgrade it to i7 Windows 10 will not be supported no longer Change to the i9 but it all depends on the tower Fram you have you might have to buy a new motherboard or look at the cpu to see how many pins if the pins match then you do have to get a new motherboard it all depends
