These reviews had me very nervous to visit this location for the first time. I'm glad to say my visit was perfect! The wait time wasn't long, my obgyn was very informative. Ladies, please don't skip on your exams due to these reviews or financial problems. They have grants and all sorts of financial help and the staff was great. A reminder why we need PP!

Drove an hour to an appointment I made here, only to find the place was closed for the day?? Hello?? Some common curtesy would’ve been appreciated.

Short handed, long wait time just to get someone on the phone. Cindy was one of the people I had to talk to unfortunately because she was unpleasant. I won't be back.

Just called to see how much it was to get an IUD removed it's 140 without insurance that is ridiculous. So now I have a foreign object just sitting in me. They shouldn't make you pay anything just to remove something that doesn't even take 5 mins. Do you care more about money or woman's health? Looks like money to me.

Hello, what did you solve? I am also interested in taking it off
Hi Kassy! Thanks for your question. The cost for that service can vary based on your insurance and income status, and whether any additional services are necessary at your visit. Patient assistance funds may also be available based on whether you meet eligibility guidelines. It's always best to call your health center directly so that they can give you an estimated cost for services before your appointment based on your specific needs and eligibility.
Hello if you had your baby? Can you give it to me ??? 🥺
We always try to encourage patients to make an appointment to ensure you can be seen when it works with your schedule. We often have same-day and next-day appointments available online at ppgreatertx.org. We do accept walk-in appointments, but availability varies by location. We encourage you to contact your health center by phone before you arrive to ask about their walk-in availability to ensure we can see you in a timely way.
Thank you for your question, Amy. Planned Parenthood does accept most major insurance along with self-pay options. Not all services are covered by insurance, and coverage levels can vary. It's important to know what your insurance will cover before your appointment. It's always best to contact us at 1-800-230-PLAN before your appointment to get information about fees associated with your services, insurance, and eligibility guidelines for financial assistance. More information is also available here: https://www.plannedparenthood.org/planned-parenthood-greater-texas/patient-resources/insurance-payment-options
Hi Susan! The cost for your visit can vary based on the individual services you receive, along with your insurance and income status. It's best to contact your health center directly by phone to get an estimate of expected cost before your appointment. If you have private insurance, it's also important to understand what your policy covers.
Hi Takeisha! It sounds like you are referring to either IUD or implant birth control removal. We do offer both insertion and removal for IUD and implant birth control devices at our health centers. For more information, please visit us at ppgreatertx.org or call 1-800-230-PLAN.
Hi Natalia! Some of our locations do offer Saturday and evening hours. To learn more, visit ppgreatertx.org.
