It depends on the pain you have. If your pain is muscular thc, if it's nerve pain cbd, if your pain is both nerve and muscular a combo of thc+cbd would be more beneficial. Sativa and sativa dominate hybrids are usually associated with energy and an uplifted feeling. Indicas are used in evening with a more couch locked high. I have found that Sativa can lead to anxiety in some patients, myself included. I tend to stick to indica strains now and a few hybrid strains
