Great stock, and great staff! Brought my daughter in for her first pair of real skates. The staff was very knowledgeable, and gave honest opinions on the different options. They also had all the pads etc we needed. Very happy to find this gem of a store in El Cerrito.

As others have noted, expired or poorly kept products are frequent at any 99 Ranch Market. My last visit to the Richmond, CA store found mostly dead lobster in it's tanks, some obviously decomposing. While the stores are cleaner than years ago, they still have a long way to go to get to acceptable standards. And, like other stores, they are taking full advantage of the opportunity presented by COVID to gouge customers on price, not that 99 Ranch's practices weren't already intended to give consumers less quality for their money. As far as others claims of racism, employees are not friendly nor do most speak English. Save your claims for a BLM riot, reparations rally or general whining. No one is treated well at 99 Ranch.

If you can get it somewhere else, don’t come to this place. Be prepared to get expired food with mold on it. Not to mention it’s not cheap at all. Bought pineapple with mold on the bottom. Not worth it to drive back and return, also the cashier looks like they were forced to do this job while giving you bad attitude. We need a better Asian market.

Wow, Asian ladies are so cool. Several were amazed I could cook and helped me get the right stuff. Store staff included. And I had to leave, way to much stuff and I was trying to shop within my storage space.

I am not 100% sure, but I think they should accept because they are big chain supermarket.
Most of the time when I go there, they have live crab. 🦀 not cook
Unfortunately, no. The 72 or 72R runs on San Pablo Avenue and you will have to walk about 6 blocks.
It is a good question. You can order the Thanksgiving meal combo along the turkey 🦃
Yes. They are always open.
There are shops selling jewelry in the mall.
Very likely. You could also try Tokyo Fish on San Pablo near Gilman.

Yes, Sun Tropics brand. I've never seen fresh though, if that's what you're looking for.

At 99 Ranch, you can get most complete Asian , especially Chinese ingredients, including vegies, fruits, cut meats and fishes that you can't find in American Supermarkets.
