I wont be ordering anything from this place again. I ordered a high bilge alarm with a cellular device. I installed it, and discovered that they had sold me a 3g cellular device. Of course phone companies have been phasing out 3g since the end of last year and there is no longer any 3g service available. Defender refused to take it back because it had been "installed and was no longer in new condition" which was frankly unbelievable to me since they sold the device without mentioning that it was 3g only. I ended up having to deal directly with aqualarm, who cant take the item back because they didnt sell it to me. Rodney at Aqualarm has been great and quite helpful about the whole thing, but Defender has been absolutely terrible. I may end up having to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. The staff at Defender has been rude, turfed my calls and closed my tickets without my problem being solved. Must be great to have so much business you can afford to lose a customer or two.

Amazing outlet store. Our boat is near their actual brick-and-mortar warehouse (a lot of people didn’t even know they had an outlet store where their warehouse is) so we go here often. Excellent place and the people love our old pup when we bring her to shop! Not everything is on the shop floor but they remind us they’re a warehouse and, invariably, have everything we need whether on the floor or will get it from the back. Great place!

Ordered Liqui Moly 4-stroke oil for my new outboard on Friday morning, it arrived Saturday afternoon! Oil was on sale for half the price of Amazon even with the Defender shipping price (UPS). Fast shipping may have been also due to me being a state away from Defender in CT. Boxes were thick and well packaged.
