I have lived here for just over a year now. I have seen many positive changes and improvements with the new management. The leasing and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. No place is perfect, but I have had no major concerns that went unresolved. The pool is nice and clean and parking is not an issue. Doggie waste stations might encourage more residents to dispose of it properly, because that is also an issue sometimes. But dogs are welcome and I appreciate that! Things are much better than just a year ago, and I hope to continue to enjoy the improvements.

Excellent place to live. Everything is being newly renovated. Had a couple issues with my initial unit when I was about to move in, but they had another ready that better fit my needs. Sherry was very communicative and answered all my questions. Running a complex can be difficult and they make it look easy.

Complex switched management companies at least 5 times in the 4 years my husband and I have been there. They don’t make a point to update information from the old systems to the next and the only time they will update that is if you go to the office in person and tell them you didn’t get community for things. Only then will they update contact information and tell you that all the info from the previous system didn’t get transferred over, EVERY SINGLE TIME. they do not communicate a lot of important notices via email, despite having the capability to do so, and with current technologies and the majority of communications and transactions being online, you’d think that emailing important information instead of posting it via paper on the apartment doors would be the best way to communicate. Or at the very least if it’s required to post on paper, send an email as well. I was given the run around about why we had a late fee applied to our account in the month we were leaving the complex and it turns out it was because they didn’t post payments made to them. Apparently they stopped being responsible for sending payments over to the furniture rental company and made that the responsibility of the tenants, and claimed to have posted the notice on our door but not via email at all. They still were taking the full rent amount month after month (that included furniture rental per the rental agreement that hadn’t changed), and never told us once that we were over paying for months and should have been paying the furniture rental company directly. Even the rental company wasn’t given information for who they needed to contact for payment. Paying for pest control every month despite them only doing pest control less then 5 times our entire 4 years there is frustrating. There were lots of bugs in the apartment building, roaches included which wasn’t something I wasn’t happy with. The amount of trash that piled up around the dumpsters was disgusting as well. The state that they buildings were in as well wasn’t worth the amount of rent being paid. The outside exterior doors literally do not lock, nor were they fixed to actual doors attached to the frame well enough that when closed, there waa still visible gaps big enough to watch bugs crawl through. I have been living here for over 12 years and each year I get more disappointed. The grounds are not properly taken care of (trash everywhere, broken windows, broken doors, etc), main office posts that they offer a gym (set up but not allowing tenants to use it), the office also will VERY rarely answer the phone or respond to emails or messages through the app. Maintenance requests are addressed on a delay (my water was but fixed after 6 hours but maintenance answered the app request a month later), and the apartments have gone through 3 name changes and 5 management companies within the last 5 years ( which is ultimately VERY sketchy). Ultimately, I would consider this place VERY carefully as you are in a convenient location if you are military but you are paying a price for the service that they offer. My recommendation is to look at the grounds towards the back where landscaping contractors do not touch.

To anyone living here currently, how are you liking the place? What's you're overall opinion on the apartments?

Well they have made changes such as parking, new fees added to the rent and the office staff are not friendly. There is no more visitors parking, so if you didn't get a pass before they close, you park on the street. The new fees are for trash and water. The trash fee goes to someone's pocket since often you see the dumpster full and trash all around. The water fee is regardless if you use a lot a little. I personally don't like this apartments anymore. Won't recommend.
