The food is made fresh. We have tried several items and everything is delicious. We picked up a dinner for someone else and they said that it was THE BEST liver and onions they've ever tasted! Only wish Norfolk location sold liver and onions meal. I do suggest calling ahead because it can be a wait since they make everything to order. The wait is worth it though. Will be a customer for a long time.

The food was okay. 6/10. Yams was GREAT. Smothered pork chops dry, rice was ok. I didn’t receive my cornbread Definitely not somewhere I’d eat everyday but it’s alright..

100/100 I just chicken wing dinner with Mac and yams !! It came with cornbread I haven’t tried the cornbread yet but everything else bomb !!!!!!!!! Fresh and hot was about 14 dollars and the trays are packed full they weren’t stingy with the food at all great customer service the young lady’s were respectful and sweet love black business ! I love our people hope you guys put this place everywhere thank you❤️

Wish I listened to the reviews before wasting 34$. Any place that advertises “soul food” and proceeds to serve canned greens is a disgrace. Macaroni mushy bland and overcooked. Couldn’t eat 2 bites. The semaj chicken was terrible every bite literally secreted an overwhelming amount of nasty oil and flavor was not the sweetness did not blend well at all. Rice over cooked clearly it was prepared a while ago it was far from fresh. My fries had literally no flavor or crisp in fact it was as they microwaved frozen fries. The catfish was the only thing I could stomach but it was it had a dusty texture and it was bland. The cornbread is decent but my appetite was gone by then. Trash it goes usually don’t leave reviews but this was disrespectful to soul food culture. Don’t waste your money.
