After the poor judgment in this rutland nursing home, being "carried" by the other buildings connected to this place, I'm happy, they tricked my mother, to sign a AmA form so they can "protect" themselves. By the way, she still has a fractured heel, but she asked for a copy, they neglected to give it to her. Evasive, as well. Yet, still, want to discharge her for "unsafe" reason over a motorized wheelchair that is CLEARLY hers. Too much to get to. I got frustrated towards one of the supervisors and I apologize for that, but not sorry for saying "they" are incompetence, still on going. It's like they enjoy it, because of zero accountability. Cowardice to the T. The CNA, her PTs, and the nurses cleaning my mom and helped her with the equipment to get on and off the chair, a beautiful 5 star. There were others with very compassionate concerns. Everyone that is a "messenger" for bureaucracy or their higher authority, are more concerned with protecting their own hide. Even, if it doesn't look that way, it's all the same. Leashes jerked? You answer. I'm more disappointed that beautiful soul people have to be involved with the corruption of this nursing home. Please, be a nag if need to protect your family, because they kept getting in my mom's way of hers. Over "Medical facility" conditions. In conclusion, they want mom to be blamed, but turnabout is fair play. I don't and my family doesn't need to do anything to them. They will be undone. The ones that caused my family grievance.

Take your loved one elsewhere!!! My mother in law fell out of bed on the first night she was there and everything just went downhill ever since. There was no accountability from anyone. From the floor managers to the patient Rep, all no help and unprofessional.

There is more to this place than just nightmares. I have just filed a complaint with the health department overseeing nursing homes in NY. This nursing home is merely a facility to store the sick and elderly. Nursing and rehabilitation at this facility are an oxymoron. Management does not return your calls for complaints. They only offered you empty promises of improved care the one time they did. I'm actively looking for another facility that truly cares. At first in 2021, my mother was not even bathed regularly when she lived on the fifth floor on the south side. She smelled like a homeless person when I visited her. Though she has improved since they moved her to the north side after I complained, she is no longer turned every two hours. Due to this, she developed a wide lesion on her back that I personally saw yesterday (see photos). I find this unacceptable. Her back is completely dry and untreated. I asked for the log of this simple rest turns, which were ignored. I called and left a message to the Director of Nursing, Mayra Blank, and that too was ignored. Public complaints are handled by someone here who answers them as if it's an isolated incident, but it's not the case. Just a way to deceive you publicly. Read the rest of the complaints from others below, when considering this place. If it were up to me, I wouldn't keep a sick dog in here. Totally unacceptable.

So sorry to hear about your isolated experience. Have you contacted the Family Council on the 2nd floor?
When empathy is contingent on money, fueled by greed and " meism" engulfed in reflections of a time gone by in a different place, the result is just a pay check for services. If the selection and screening, prior to employment, are done not to employ a body, but personnel wanting to care, the interaction between staff and residents would be different in the care provided.
