Slow response to patient care, but quick response to employee's toxic drama. But what do you expect from this type of health care, lack of communication, timeliness, care. Despite having very high staff to low customer ratio! Staff doesn't follow the mandatory mask mandate to the facility with some either not wearing a mask while others where it below their chin like a diaper!

This place has the best customer service by far!!! It was an hour drive but worth entire time spent here. We were treated with respect and the utmost attention. I am glad to have had the opportunity to receive care for my son here. Life is not given everyday treat people like you would your own loved ones. Thank you for giving my son this ❤️

4-5 hours to be seen at the ER. 3.5-4 hours to pick up medication at the pharmacy. This place is an insult to the patients. There is NOTHING emergency here. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Especially the front desk service. That black lady upfront is the real meaning of “horrible customer service “. It’s like they all hate their job and it’s the patients’ fault. You could be dying and they will let you wait for hours. Military personnel and their families deserve way better than this place. Came here for emergency at 08 am. It’s noon and still not seeing by a doctor. This place is a joke!

Long wait in ER is expected but that’s really anywhere. However I have received such good care here, nurses, doctors and staff were phenomenal at their job and never had me wait in a room for very long. They were quickly caring for my needs, and took all the right steps in making sure I was okay. They have given me instructions on where my follow up appointments are, and what I need to do. They cared so much about safety, privacy and most of all my health and well being. As a medical professional myself I was very impressed compared to any other hospitals I have been to. I have been receiving prompt phone calls to make appointments and all staff have been very sweet, kind, and most of all helpful in every aspect.

Are you already out of the service? If so, you need to contact VA. Look up military one source. They have a lot of good information. Need a little bit more info to assist you a little better.
I was induced on a Saturday. So in my personal professional opinion, YES!
USAJOBS.COM search by site location, or LinkedIn.
You can also write to your Senator or call the Commonwealths board of medicine.
If that’s the case you can also call Humana Tricare Insurance company. Or get a hold of the chain of command. They all have one.
Commonwealth of Virginia DMV. I know it sounds weird but, yes! They are at the DMV!
Hello Tommy... It depends. You can go to medical records in building 2 2nd floor and request to have your records printed out. Per DOD instruction they have 30 days to release your record to you however it usually doesn't take that long. Medical records can process any outpatient records that you have however, depending on if you are on a ship those records are usually kept on the ship. So Sewells Point branch medical clinic medical records department may be your best bet. Lastly, if you need any mental health you will have to go to the Mental Health clinic at either nmcp or the branch clinics which include Sewells Point Oceana and Little Creek to put in the request. You will have to pick up your mental health record from nmcp or you have the option of having it mailed to you or emailed to you. Help that help. P.S. Family Medicine will send you to Medical Record in Building too.
Unfortunately, unless you are entitled to survivor benefits, no.
You have to do the online portion first then call the appointment line to set up the second part.
None. They will make you meet them off base at the gate to pick up.

Fisher house would be the spot.
A US citizen MAY be granted access to most military facilities by following the protocol in place by that facility for visitation, etc. Contact the facilities quarter deck and ask what it is. But as a former corpsman...that was something a former corpsman told me.
Ask your son for his address. Its different for every one there
See if you can go to a Tricare facility! Unless it’s necessary and they are the only facility offering the test I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you seek diagnostic bloodwork elsewhere!!!! I won’t even go into it because people have weak stomachs. Let’s just say I had to tell the nurse who is in fact an officer what to do when blood was going all over me and the floor!

In order to get on base you must have a military Id, or a spouse/dependent Id. If you don't then you can be escorted on based by some one with one of these, & you will just need your state Id or drivers license.
Nope you need an escort at all times
Usually open until 1am depending on patient census.

Yes! Great Team!
Yes. You'll be stopped at the gate, and will have to provide patient name, and do a little paperwork shortly. Just be patient with the guards, and you'll get through.
Go to medical records it's right by immunizations and request your records if you had xrays you have to go to stays to get a copy of those.
Yes. All active duty personnel should be in uniform for their appointments. Not a strictly enforced requirement though. The benefit is that uniformed personnel jump to the front of most lines at the lab, pharmacy, etc.
Quarter deck is who can help you reach your desired department @ 953-5000
I'm sorry, too. I have only waited long periods there when high volumes of ambulances with patients on the verge of death come in and have to be stabilized before surgery or transport to a room or other specialty hospital depending on space availability.

you cannot enter a military hospiital without an ID. It is still a military base and requires an ID for access. You can be added to a temporary access list by calling security and providing some information.
