Visited the emergent care yesterday under direction from my child’s pediatrician. The nurses or techs who first came in to do vitals and take medical history were so rude and unprofessional. One kept telling me to stay still for my bp (literally told me at least 10 times to stay still while also yelling at me about my TODDLER getting up and down from the bed and not having her mask over her nose) as if a 28 year old mother has never had her blood pressure taken? 😂 I also work in a hospital. If you’re that scared of getting sick you bug out over a toddler having a mask below their nose, you probably shouldn’t be working in an urgent care center. To top it off I mentioned that my youngest had the most severe symptoms out of the three of us (I was being seen as well) and the response from the nurse was “Well yeah she’s three”. Nasty, rude and terrible at their job. Dr didn’t even know how to go about getting us a nebulizer 🤡 idk where Ellis gets their staff from but stay away. Go to a St. Peter’s affiliate.

I was extremely ill when I visited there. I was seen right away. I was there for about 6 hours but they were so thorough. Had a CT scan, EKG, blood work, IV fluids, morphine for my severe pain. I had a bed to lay on. I was extremely pleased with their friendliness and professionalism.

Emergent care at Ellis Hospital in Clifton Park is an absolute joke. The staff are rude and for a facility that primarily deals with emergencies, they have literally zero sense of urgency when it comes to getting you registered and checked out. You'll be stuck writhing in pain for HOURS in the waiting room if they decide that your injury doesn't fall within their description of a "severe injury" and will take people in that came in after you arrived if they have what they consider a "severe injury". Seriously dissatisfied with the attitude of the staff and their prioritization system that would allow people in pain to wait longer because some others are in "more pain". I wish that 0 out of 5 stars was an option on here because they deserve it.

2 times in a row I've had a horrible experience post pandemic. It took me 2 mins to get into a room, 10 mins to get a nurse, 30 for a doctor and 1 hour to get asked "here's your paperwork head on out". The doctor was attentive but I must have gotten him during shift change because I was forgotten about afterward and never saw him again despite him saying "I'm gonna talk to ya before you go". No one went over my x rays with me, or spoke to me about medicine and relief for my back. I left here in the most miserable pain and hope they prescribed the right meds. I must have strained a muscle when coughing but I'll never know with Ellis because I really don't trust their nurses or doctors. All staff are rude to your face, doing nothing at the stations and have absolutely no sense of urgency. There's zero burn out that can be seen at this place any yet no one cares about you. I'll never go back. Places like this are what make me fear going to the doctor. I'm not afraid of medical equipment or needles, I'm afraid of laziness, lack of communication and sheer stupidity.

I don't have an answer but I got one two. And mine costs $560.00. If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you for the code 516?
I would call 911 if that happens. That's an emergency for an ER not an urgent care.
I have had this issue, as an insured person, my name was and is still in their system 2 times, they have been advised to correct it but it never happens
Wait times vary. Women and children seem to get through quick. As to if they are helpful: I've been there 3x and not once did I get anything worth the while. Urgent care is the way to go...
CDTA's 352 bus drives the McClellan route.
Where have you gone where the results come back in 24 hours?
