Just wanted to thank everyone at the office particularly Doletta Hardy who stayed late into lunch break to take care of everyone who was waiting. Great customer service, thank you!

Superior service. A very polite and professional team. Office #2 is the place to go. She took my old ID card with a smile. Lol 😆

Staff is friendly when coming in. But they do not keep appointments. Had appointment at 1300, arrived early 1250 because there is no lunch hours posted and assumed they would at least attempt to see anyone who comes plus bring in military you always arrive early. Did not get seen until 1330. One person was working as the other four were just socializing in the hall as we walked back when our number was called. Horrible experience, do not recommend.

The workers were cool, and handled business professionally, and in a timely manner.

As long as you have the proper forms (1172, recommended to be digitally signed, otherwise the physical document needs to be notarized and the military member present) and two forms of ID. Yes. You will get a new ID, but arrive 45 min before they open if you don't want to be there all day. Next time don't wait until you have one day remaining on your ID expiration.
They used to, I am not sure now because they stopped doing them for a brief period of time.
Yes, but check the site yo make sure you bring all the I.D.'s for verification purposes.
Yes. We will need the death certificate and two forms of valid ID.
You can get it the day before if you want too. But make sure you don't need to digitally sign or access encrypted messages as you will loose that access once you get your retirement ID card.
System was down worldwide on Tue 6/14. Lost card is on for walk in per their web site.
You cannot get your retired ID until you have your retirement orders and DD214. And walk ins are no longer welcome. You need to set up an appointment
No. Only employees have computers, no nipr lab
You need to be present, because he's under age. Please call the ID office to get more information and you have to make an appointment, on Fridays they do walk in, please call them.
Yes
Yes, just go to the website to make the appointment.
Due to Covid the new minimum age is 14.
Yeah, you need an appointment. You might be in a certain priority group where you can just walk in and be seen, but for my wife to get her expiring family member ID replaced, she had to make an appointment and I had to be there to sign the form in person. With COVID restrictions and all, get an appointment. And remember, it's over by the old Home & Garden building 😉
Yes. You must be in uniform and well groomed.
You need to first make an appointment at your local ID card facility. Also, have your sponsor present or have them fill out and sign a form 1172-2 and have it notarized. And two forms of valid ID. That can be anything from birth certificate, passport, social security card, drivers license, voter registration card, etc. But it must be a federal issued form of ID. If not, you will be turned away.
It’s the same process as normal. If active duty or reserve you will need to fill out a lost memo and have it signed by tour commander. Then come to the office in uniform with two forms of valid ID and you will be issued a card. If a dependent then you’ll need your sponsor and two forms of valid ID.
They only do walk-in on Thursday.
Yes ma’am. You’ll need the death certificate and two forms of valid ID.
Yes. Go to the nearest office and hand it to them to terminate it.
You can try to get an ID by making an appointment here - https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/
Thursdays they do walkins
Yes if you have the right paperwork. If you're going for your reserve id. You have to be in uniform.
You’ll need a letter from the social security office and we can use that instead of your Medicare card to sign you up for a new retiree ID.
You’ll need the death certificate and two forms of valid ID.
An appointment is not needed. But, if able to make one, it isn't a bad idea to do so. Each 'customer' could take anywhere between 10-30min, dependent upon their individual needs. There are multiple stations, but if there is a large amount of people before you, then the wait can be extensive. *Note - there is priority for military personnel in uniform.
This is not a question for the ID card office. Call TriCare and ask a professional
There will most likely be a line as long as the building, just stand in that line. It's like a line to a ride at Disneyland, except without the thrill of being able to get on a ride for 6 minutes. If you're actually able to make an appointment within a reasonable amount of time, they have a much shorter line inside the door. IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, DO NOT GET IN LINE! WALK TO THE FRONT AND WAIT WHERE IT SAYS "APPOINTMENTS"
No, but you can buy them at the Army Air Firce Exchange (AAFES)
I would say call them, but I'm not sure they'll answer. Considering the wait for a walk in is so long, I'd recommend making an appointment and taking time from work to be present.
