I have enjoyed smoothie king smoothies for over 20 years. So I was happy to find a new store close to my location back when the Deland store first opened. I went in and requested my favorite drink. Not on the menu, however I don't mind paying for a substituted ingredients or what ever. I was told "they don't do that". I asked if they had the first ingredient, then the second, and so on. Yes to all! I walked out frustrated. Over the past year or two I have had my requested smoothie at other stores and the competition. TODAY, back to the Deland store and request my "custom" three ingredient smoothie and was told "we don't do custom smoothies". Seriously???? Not another customer in the store and no drive through customers. I wasn't rude, however I just had to leave out of frustration. Owner/manager really should address this issue with staff. Btw went the tropical smoothie and got what I wanted.....with a smile. Good lock, I will not be back.

They have the best recovery smoothies. I love their chocolate banana smoothie, Replenishes the nutrients I've lost during strenuous workouts

Yummy smoothie for post work out meals and lunch replacement. It’s the sweet tooth craving without being overly sweet. Kept me full for dinner after a long 3 mile hike.
